I have a nissan micra super s 1995 and one of my headlights has stopped working, it used to come back on when i banged it but now its stopped working altogether, does the headlight just need tightening or replacing. Also any advice on how to access the headlight would be helpful. ThanksMy headlight has gone, it used to come on when i knocked it, could it just be loose or does it need replacing?Just replace it. It is cheap. Knocking to make it work should be considered emergency technique (just to drive home). It was bound to fail eventually. There's no tightening to be done - just replace it.
Headlight are accessed by one of two ways, from the front or from the back (under the hood). That depends on your car model.
