How effective are aftermarket headlight sealers in deflecting UV rays?

After market headlight cleaning kits remove the factory UV coating on the headlight lens. These cleaning kits sometimes offer a sealer to replace the damaged coating but do they work? How effective are aftermarket headlight sealers in deflecting UV rays? They last anywhere from a month to three months before they begin to peel and yellow.

I do not know of anyone of them that actually advertises UV protection in their sealers. I doubt that polyurethane or acrylic floor finish has UV protection.

The water based acrylic will not yellow as quickly or as darkly as the oil based polyurethane sealers but it is not as durable.

They get cloudy/dull due to sandblasting effect from road grime, thus the need to redo. How effective are aftermarket headlight sealers in deflecting UV rays? They are either water base or oil base

Neither have any UV protective qualties.
