How much will it cost to repair one broken headlight?

My car's right headlight was broken today.

(The one for long-distance lighting--high beam only.)

The glass and bulb were broken.

My car isToyota 1993 camary.



Will it cost a lot to repair by a dealer?

The assembly is only bolted in generally or held in by clips and is not that hard to change out normally. The bulb itself is a 9006 HB4, it should be locked into the back of the assembly but unlocks by turning counter clockwise, then you just need to remove the socket from it by lifting the tab that locks on the bulb then remove it. Installation is reversed of removal.



Never touch the glass on halogen bulbs, it can easily lead to burn marks on the glass.
